Hi, I’m Ayesha, an artist based in Oakville, Ontario.

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty of nature — the colours, textures and small details that make certain places stay with us long after we leave them. Gardens, landscapes and everyday moments often become starting points for my work.

My main medium is oil painting, though I also experiment with drawing, ink, acrylics and mixed media. I create my images by adding layers, letting the colour, texture, and expressive marks determine the final work rather than deciding all the details in advance.

I usually alternate between observation and memory; some works start with a place I have been to, while others begin with a specific colour, plant, feeling, or fragment that has stayed with me.

Through AN Studio, I aim to produce original work with a personal, authentic feel—art that injects warmth, curiosity, and a sense of connection into the places we call home.
