My Summer Garden was inspired by the feeling of being surrounded by flowers at the height of summer, when everything feels full, colourful, and slightly overgrown in the best way. I wanted the painting to feel lively and natural, almost like walking through a garden where different blooms are growing freely together. The soft pinks, deep reds, and warm orange flowers stand out against the rich green background, creating layers of colour and movement throughout the piece. Rather than focusing on perfect detail, I painted the flowers in a loose and expressive way to capture the feeling and atmosphere of a summer garden in bloom.
